After years of pushing myself to the limit as a gymnast, dancer, fitness instructor, lover of hard training and general active adventurer/stresshead! I came to the realisation that I needed to counterbalance all that high energy with something more nourishing for my nervous system, that could keep me supple, strong and well, into old age.
I had previously dabbled in a Yoga practice which I found supported me in preventing injury and maintaining calm in high stress environments. In order to develop this practice further and embed Yoga more centrally into my life I worked hard in a call centre and pub to save up for a very unique adventure, travelling to my ancestral roots in India and receiving accredited foundation training in Ancient Hatha Yoga techniques.
As I delve deeper into my own ongoing practice and life-learning through Yoga, I am offering donation based workshops to workplaces, groups and communities that feel they would benefit from and would like to share in the techniques I've learnt. Cultivating in this way a little more inner quiet and calm for ourselves.
